Prepare a project for the replacement of heating equipmentIt should be remembered that the replacement of radiatorsheatingcan be carried out only after the project is approved by the appropriate authorities. Find out the working pressure in the heating network of your home. Find out or measure the diameter of the discharge and supply pipes. Measure the width of the window and the distance from the sill to the floor. When choosing a radiator, please note that the heater must cover the window opening by 3/4. This is necessary for the formation of a thermal air curtain near the window. Otherwise, partial freezing of the window block is possible. Perform a technical calculation to determine the required heat output of the radiator. The calculation is made taking into account the thermal performance of the outer wall of the building, the presence of a loggia or balcony, type of window unit, area of the heated room and other parameters. To make a correct calculation it is recommended to use the services of a specialist. The thermal power of the designed device should be as close as possible to the calculated one. Make a project and give it to the appropriate authority. Wait for permission to replace the heater.
