We easily call our acquaintances optimists or pessimists. But do you know the exact definition of these words? How does a world view affect the state of the body and human performance? Differences between optimist and pessimist

Curious is the study of doctors with the participation of 1250 volunteers that survived myocardial infarction. The researchers divided people into 3 groups: “moderately dull”, “too dull”, and “cheerful”. After 10 years, such mortality data were found:
“Too dull” - 50%;
“Moderately dull” - 42%;
“Cheerful” - 35%.
In addition, during the experiment, in which the 100 graduates of Harvard participated in 35 years, it was found out that negatively-minded individuals differ in that they do not so often give up bad habits and fall ill more often. Optimists tend to take the future into their own hands.

Not so long ago, psychologists have found that fashion for a positive goes too far. Of course, optimistic views have many advantages, but there are also negative sides.
