Baked pumpkin with almonds and apples
This appetizing dish comes from sunny Armenia, which will suit fans of vegetarian cuisine. Its preparation will take a little over two hours, however, having tasted the result, you will not regret the time spent. So, the following products will be needed:
- 20-30 g raisins;
- 50-60 g of almonds;
- 1-2 hours l. cinnamon;
- pumpkin weighing 1.5 kg .;
- 4 sweet apples;
- 150 g of oil;
- 60 g of sugar;
- 100 g round rice;
- 150 g plums;
- salt to taste
First we need to boil one hundred grams of round rice.And the rice should end up as a half-cooked. For this you need to fill it with water, salt and cook over low heat. You need to boil until the cereal absorbs water. Then we need raisins - fill it with boiled water and stir for 20 minutes. We now turn to the pumpkin. Wash it and cut it in half. All seeds need to be removed, and the flesh cut so that the wall thickness in the end was 2 centimeters. Pumpkin pulp should be finely chopped.
We turn to plums - we cut them into cubes. With apples you need to cut off the peel, finely chopped. Almonds also need to be cut, but not small, it is enough to divide into two parts and fry in a frying pan (literally five minutes). Now all you need to mix and add sugar, cinnamon, as well as one hundred grams of oil.
We turn to the oven, which must be heated to 200 degrees Celsius. Take the halves of the pumpkin and put the resulting stuffing. Then take a baking sheet and grease it with butter, put the halves and put in the oven. It is necessary to bake a dish within one and a half or two hours.
Mexican pumpkin in the oven
To feel the spicy taste of temperamental Mexico, you will need to spend just an hour and a half and, of course, the following ingredients:
- 2 kg.pork fillet;
- 400 g of corn (can be canned);
- 8 pickled cucumbers;
- 1-2 stems of leeks;
- 1 l. dark beer;
- 800 g of white beans (again canned);
- 1 large pumpkin;
- 1 red onion;
- 3 small jalapeno peppers or 1.5 serrano;
- 250 g of tomatoes;
- 2 tbsp. l olive or corn oil;
Red onions will need to be peeled and finely chopped. Leek is necessary to cut into half rings, before that, do not forget to wash it thoroughly. Cucumbers, too, wash and chop finely. Pepper-holopeno should be cut in half and remove the seeds from it, and then chop. Pork fillet washed and cut into thin slices. Take a frying pan, add butter and fry the leeks, as well as jalapeño and red onion. For all not more than two minutes. Then go to the meat, stir and fry for another three minutes.
Next, you need to add corn, beans, two minutes - cucumbers, three or four tablespoons of pickle. Stir, keep on low heat.
We now turn to beer. You need to take a stewpan and put tomatoes in it, pour beer and boil. Add the mixture to the meat and simmer for about 20 minutes.
Finally, you need to wash the pumpkin and cut off the top.Place parchment paper oiled on the baking sheet. Put the pumpkin on the paper, add the finished mixture of vegetables inside the pumpkin. Put the pumpkin in the oven (180-190 centigrade). Cook 45 minutes.
Sweet Pumpkin Soup
This simple soup is a good option for those who have children. This dish dispels the myth that pumpkin dishes, like wholesome food, cannot be very tasty.
It will take:
- 650 ml. milk;
- 60-70 g. Semolina;
- 400 ml. glasses of water;
- 700 g pumpkin;
- 90 g of butter;
- 70 g of sugar;
Wash pumpkin, get rid of the peel, cut into cubes and simmer in salted water until cooked. Beat with a mixer and cover with boiled milk. Add sugar and semolina, cook for a couple of minutes. Before serving, put the butter in the soup.
Pumpkin in a multivariate

It will take:
- 1 tsp cinnamon;
- ; 500-600 g of pumpkin;
- pepper, salt;
- 2 tsp. honey;
