Salt Night Light
Once having been on an excursion to the fabulous salt caves of Soledar, we brought a relatively small piece of salt as a memorable trophy home. And knowing that the salt lamp is not just amazingly beautiful and fascinating, but also a very useful light source, the unanimous decision was made to turn a piece of salt into a salt light. The work will require a hand drill, a screwdriver, two self-tapping screws, a wooden stand, a “Second” superglue, a soldering iron, three elongated pieces of rubber, a piece of wire of the desired length, a standard industrial light and literally everything just an hour of free time.
Having prepared everything you need, you first need an ordinary hand drill at the base of a piece of salt to carefully drill out a recess of the required diameter and depth for a micro hems and screws.Having examined the standard nightlight of an industrial design, carefully pull out the microcircuit with diodes. In the stand drilled holes for screws, in a piece of salt, respectively, too, only for greater certainty and strength filled with glue.Inserted a microcircuit, secured with screws on a stand. On the bottom of the wooden stand, glued three thin pieces of rubber to prevent the night light from sliding over the surface.
