This recipe for sinnabon buns will conquer any sweet tooth!

  • 500 gr of flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • a pinch of salt

For filling:

  • 150 grams of oil
  • 125 grams of sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon

For cream:

  • 200 grams of cream cheese / mascarpone (can be replaced with condensed milk)
  • 100 grams of butter
  • sugar to taste


First mix all the liquid ingredients of the dough. The most convenient way to do this, by the way, is to use a bread maker, if you have one.


Now add the flour, yeast and mix it well.


Leave the prepared mass for 20 minutes at room temperature. The dough will rise.


In the meantime, mix cinnamon and sugar for the filling.


Now roll the dough as thin as possible.


Spread the oil on the seam.


Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.


Now turn the layer into a roll.


Now take ... a dental floss (yes) and cut the dough into several rolls with a width of about 4 cm.


Cutting the thread is much more convenient - the dough does not lose round shape.


Put the rolls on a baking sheet, brush them with a little butter and leave at room temperature for a few minutes. Bake in the oven at 180 ° C for 15-20 minutes.


While the rolls are baked, prepare the cream. Sugar can be added only when using cream cheese. If you prefer cream with condensed milk, adding sugar, most likely, will not be necessary.
